The QA Engineer is responsible for improving and enforcing agreed quality standards to ensure Doodle Labs remains always audit-ready while continuing to move fast. Reporting to the QA Manager, you will own the day-to-day execution and follow-through of document control, CAPA closure, and quality visibility—turning quality systems into reliable, scalable operations rather than audit-time fire drills.
What You’ll Do
- Improve and Enforce Document Control
- Take ownership of the existing document control system and strengthen it to support continuous ISO 9001 and defense-grade audit readiness
- Review current document control processes, identify gaps, and implement improvements
- Maintain clear version control, approval workflows, and document traceability
- Drive CAPA Closure and Follow-Through
- Track CAPAs with clear ownership, timelines, and escalation through the QA Manager
- Work with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to ensure corrective actions address root causes
- Verify effectiveness of corrective actions and reduce repeat issues
- Build and Maintain Quality Dashboards
- Track and trend key quality metrics such as defects, First Pass Yield, and ppm
- Maintain dashboards that provide clear visibility into quality performance
- Highlight emerging trends and risks to engineering and operations teams
- Maintain Accurate Inspection Specifications
- Review and update inspection specifications in response to ECNs
- Partner with engineering and manufacturing to align inspection criteria with design intent
- Prevent quality escapes caused by outdated or unclear inspection requirements
- Support Internal Audits and Audit Readiness
- Participate in internal audits and pre-audit activities
- Document findings and support corrective action execution
- Help ensure the organization remains audit-ready at all times
- Reinforce a Culture of Quality Execution
- Communicate quality expectations clearly and consistently
- Follow up to ensure commitments are completed
- Support teams in meeting quality requirements without slowing development
- Additional Role & Responsibilities
- To be main in-charge for some task and assignment. Immediate Superior may from time to time assign additional tasks and projects to the Incumbent.
What You Bring
- Min 3 years of experience in a Quality Engineering or QA role
- Hands-on experience with document control, CAPA, inspections, or quality metrics
- Exposure to ISO 9001 or other structured quality systems
- Ability to drive follow-through across teams through clarity and persistence
- Strong attention to detail and practical judgment
- Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
